A speech and language problem may include;
mis-articulation of sounds, late development of words, difficulty
communicating in social situations, stuttering, and problems expressing
their thoughts. Intervention to address these issues can be provided
in many different ways. The Family Speech Clinic is a private speech-language
pathology service that offers individual and group therapy as well
as a summer camp. Camp Inukshuk is a unique summer program that was
designed three years ago by Beth Cranmer-Smith, Speech-Language Pathologist
and Tammy Abbott, Communicative Disorders Assistant. It provides children
between the ages of 3 and 8 with the opportunity to practice their
communication skills in a fun and exciting environment.
